Jurnal Pendidikan dan Studi Islam (PISI) is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research and scholarly studies in the fields of education and Islamic studies. The journal provides an academic platform for researchers, lecturers, educators, practitioners, and students to disseminate original research findings, theoretical perspectives, and innovative ideas addressing contemporary issues in education and Islam.
PISI covers a broad range of topics, including Islamic education, teaching and learning, curriculum development, educational management, educational innovation and technology, character education, Qur’anic and Hadith studies, classical and contemporary Islamic thought, religious moderation, multicultural education, and socio-religious studies. The journal welcomes interdisciplinary and contextually grounded research that contributes to the advancement of educational theory, Islamic scholarship, and educational practice.
All manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, methodological rigor, and scholarly integrity. The journal primarily publishes articles in English, while manuscripts in Indonesian are also accepted. PISI is published twice a year, in March and September, by Nexus Edu Global. The journal is committed to promoting critical, innovative, relevant, and impactful scholarship that contributes to the development of education and Islamic studies at local, national, and international levels.
